This page explains what BlackCosmic does with personal information collected through blackcosmic.in. It describes what actually happens on this website today, rather than covering practices we do not have.

Who we are

BlackCosmic is a go-to-market and performance marketing consultancy based in India, working with clients worldwide. We operate online and do not run a public office address. You can reach us at udit@blackcosmic.in or on +91 70731 25762.

What we collect

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to type into the enquiry form on our contact page:

• Your name and email address, which are required so that we can reply.
• Company name, phone number and website, all of which are optional.
• The services you are interested in, and what you tell us about what you are trying to grow.

We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or any sensitive personal data through this form, and we would rather you did not send them.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to it, and to hold the conversation that follows. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or rent your details, and we do not use them for advertising.

Where it goes

Form submissions are emailed to our inbox. They are not stored in this website’s database. In practice that means your enquiry lives in email, which is handled by Google as our email provider.

The site is hosted by Hostinger, whose servers process page requests. Ordinary server logs include your IP address.

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Because those files are served by Google rather than by us, your browser requests them directly and your IP address is visible to Google when a page loads.

Cookies and tracking

This site loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn runs Google Analytics 4 so we can understand how pages are found and used. We also use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in search results. Analytics sets cookies in your browser and shares your IP address with Google, who process it as our analytics provider. We look at this in aggregate, to decide what to write and what to fix, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels, and we do not sell or share analytics data with advertisers.

Our caching layer may set a technical cookie to serve pages faster, and WordPress sets cookies only if someone logs in to administer the site.

If you would rather not be measured at all, browser-level tracking protection or Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on will block it, and the site will work exactly the same.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as the conversation is useful, and reviewed periodically. If you ask us to delete your enquiry, we will delete it and confirm.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information of yours we hold.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it.
• Stop using it, and withdraw consent you previously gave.

Email udit@blackcosmic.in and we will action it. There is no form to fill in and no fee. If you are in India, these rights also sit under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are in the UK or EU, the equivalent rights under UK GDPR and GDPR apply, and our lawful basis for handling your enquiry is your consent in sending it.

Children

This is a business-to-business service. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security, honestly stated

The site runs over HTTPS, and access to the inbox and the website is restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell you rather than quietly hope you do not notice.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, this page changes with them, and the date below moves. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in silently.
